Forthbank Wind Energy Development
Preface
This Environmental Statement (ES) reports the outcome of a formal environmental impact assessment
(EIA) of the proposed Forthbank wind energy development. It has been prepared to accompany a
planning application to Clackmannanshire Council by PfR (Forthbank) Limited (PfR) to construct and
operate a wind energy development on a site located immediately south east of Alloa,
Clackmannanshire (national grid reference E289102, N691085).
The EIA has been undertaken by the following project team:

The ES comprises four separately bound parts:
1. Non-Technical Summary (NTS) – summarising the findings of the EIA in a non-technical language
2. Volume 1: Written Statement – reporting the findings of the EIA.
3. Volume 2: Technical Appendices – technical material to support the main text presented in Volume
1.
4. Volume 3: Figures – the figures to accompany the text.

The non-technical summary is available free of charge, and a limited number of hard copies of the ES
are available for £250 per hard copy. A limited number of CDs containing adobe acrobat files of the ES
are available for £15 per CD. These charges are necessary to cover administrative costs. Alternatively,
