14.9 Proposed Monitoring
Shadow flicker unlikely to affect any
properties.
14.9.1 During the site commissioning process a programme of shadow flicker monitoring will be
conducted. The details of which will be agreed with Clackmannanshire Council’s
Environmental Health Department in advance.
14.10 Statement of Significance
14.10.1 Given the short duration of the predicted events up to 20 hours per receptor per year and
taking into consideration other factors such as cloud cover, times when turbines are not
operating, turbines not facing the receptor ‘square-on’, assuming no visual/topographical
barriers between the residential properties/receptors and the proposed mitigation measures,
the effects are deemed to be not significant.
