01/08/08 - O2 confirmed that there will be no electromagnetic
interference to its telecommunications infrastructure and therefore O2
has no objections.
25/07/08 - Stated that there were 5 microwave fixed links found within
the site, and there should be further consultation with the related
providers (Arqiva, Vodafone and Orange).
Contact details for scanning telemetry systems were also provided by
Ofcom. These were CSS Spectrum Management Services Ltd (CSS)
and the Joint Radio Company (JRC).
The providers were contacted directly.

SPA, SSSI and Ramsar site, a 2 nd year of migratory and wintering data
may be required.
29/07/08-01/08/08 - Scotland Gas Networks provided details of high
pressure gas transmission pipelines in the vicinity of the site.
28/07/0 - Responded with no objections as they do no not have sites
in the area.
06/08/08 - Confirmed that this installation will have no impact on force
communications, CCTV or IT systems.
13/08/08 - Responded with a copy of its records showing approximate
position of all known Scottish Power apparatus in the area specified.
30/07/0 - Scottish Water Horizons responded with plans indicating the
approximate position of Scottish Water’s existing public infrastructure.
27/07/10 - Concerns about the following potential issues at the
Forthbank amenity site of the Forth: The Black Devon Wetlands Area
plays an integral part of the Upper Forth Estuary's International
importance for birdlife, potential impact on breeding birds, movements
of wintering migrants along the Forth between Kincardine and
Cambus, winter residents, spring passage migrants and raptors.
18/01/10 - Addresses areas which should be considered in ES, though
some could be scoped out of detailed consideration. Areas include
sustainable waste management (a site specific site waste
management plan to be developed), air quality (potential nuisance to
adjacent land users during the construction and decommissioning),
site drainage strategy (detailing methods for the collection and
treatment of all surface water runoff), flood risk assessment (the site
should be assessed for flood risk from all sources), engineering
activities in the water environment (site survey of existing water
features, map of location, table detailing the justification for the activity
and how any adverse impact will be mitigated and photographs,
environmental management (construction environmental management
plan), pollution prevention (including water quality monitoring),
proposals, storage of fuel and oil (detailed scheme), land excavation/
borrow pits (detailed investigations), and regulatory advice.
20/01/10 - SNH’s comments on issues to include in ES. Areas include
Strategic Locational Guidance (Zone 2 of the SLG), Nature
Conservation Designations (Firth of Forth SPA/SSSI/Ramsar site and
Gartmorn Dam SSSI), Landscape and Visual (specific issues for the
LVIA to address, cumulative effects, effects on designated landscapes
and key views), Ecology (impacts on habitats and impacts on
species), Ornithology (recommendation of contact local RSPB office
and local Raptor Study Group), Soil and Water (areas of
peatland/peatland soils) and Recreation and Access (Ochil Hills).
06/05/10-SNH agreed that bird surveys undertaken for a period of one
full year only would be adequate.

areas within the Council area, and more distantly, have potential
