Optimization<br />
The Optimization tab is useful when you wish to run an on-demand scan without<br />
being disturbed from your work.<br />
For example, if you want to run a Deep System Scan this may take some time if<br />
you have many items on your hard disk or if your system configuration doesn't meet<br />
the recommended requirements.<br />
To access the Optimization tab:<br />
1. Open BitDefender, click Options in the upper-right corner of the window and<br />
choose Expert View.<br />
2. Go to General > Optimization.<br />
System load is constantly being monitored. When the system enters an idle state<br />
BitDefender can launch:<br />
● Deep System Scan<br />
● Quick Scan<br />
● Full System Scan<br />
● My Documents Scan<br />
Note<br />
Select Update product before running this task check box to make sure you<br />
have the latest virus definitions.<br />
