foundation location is satisfactory. The Contractor shall be liable for all damages done, and<br />

restoration to utilities as a result <strong>of</strong> their operations.<br />

D. Contractor shall contact the <strong>City</strong> for inspection prior to pouring any concrete foundation and<br />

digging for conduit runs at least 48 hours in advance (between 8 am – 5pm).<br />

E. No poles shall be placed on foundations prior to 7 days following pouring <strong>of</strong> concrete.<br />

F. Contractor shall clean up and remove all loose material resulting from construction<br />

operations.<br />

G. Top <strong>of</strong> foundation shall be 3 inches above the finished grade unless otherwise shown on the<br />

plans and shall be formed or provided a smooth finish satisfactory to the <strong>City</strong>. Foundation<br />

piers shall be drilled plum, the top <strong>of</strong> foundation poured level, and the top 3 inches <strong>of</strong> the<br />

exposed foundation above finished grade shall have the sonotube removed.<br />

H. Anchor bolts shall extend above the top <strong>of</strong> the foundation concrete as shown on anchor bolt<br />

detail. Refer to manufacturer’s specifications for bolt circle dimensions and anchor bolt<br />

specifications.<br />

I. Anchor bolts, ground rod, all reinforcing and conduit shall be in place before pouring<br />

concrete pier foundations. Foundations shall have one continuous concrete pour.<br />

J. Contractor shall keep a record set <strong>of</strong> plans and mark any differences between the locations<br />

shown in the plans and the as-built locations. This record set shall be provided to the <strong>City</strong><br />

time <strong>of</strong> acceptance <strong>of</strong> the work.<br />

B. Foundations shall be paid for once regardless <strong>of</strong> extra work caused by obstructions.<br />
