1.01 DESCRIPTION<br />

SECTION 344150<br />

SMALL ROADSIDE SIGN SUPPORTS AND ASSEMBLIES<br />

A. All material, labor, equipment, tools and superintendence necessary to furnish and install<br />

Small Roadside Sign Supports and Assemblies.<br />

1.02 REFERENCES<br />

A. TxDOT Items 421, 440, 441, 442, 445, 634, 636, 643, 644, and 656<br />

B. <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Frisco</strong> and TxDOT’s Standard Details included in the plans.<br />

C. Signing Plans<br />

PART 2 - PRODUCTS<br />

2.01 MATERIALS<br />

A. Refer to TxDOT Item 644.<br />

B. The Contractor shall provide field galvanizing and metalizing equipment, per TxDOT Item<br />

445, at all times and shall make repairs to galvanized surfaces according to these<br />

specifications at intervals as directed by the <strong>City</strong>.<br />

C. Any signs required that on not detailed on the plan sheets shall be in conformance with the<br />

most recent Texas MUTCD and the “Standard Highway Sign Designs for Texas.”<br />

D. All small sign assemblies shall be installed as shown in the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Frisco</strong> Standard Detail:<br />

“Sign Posts, Stop Signs, and Street Name Signs”<br />

E. Individual units requiring cleaning shall be washed with an approved cleaning solution to<br />

remove all grease, oil, dirt, smears, streaks, debris, and other foreign particles.<br />

PART 3 - EXECUTION<br />

3.01 INSTALLATION<br />

A. Refer to TxDOT Item 644.<br />
