PFS “<strong>Surgil</strong> field complex costruction with valuable<br />

Source of emissions will be relief valves of tank for oil. Source height is 2m,<br />

diameter - 0.1m. Source action period is 24 hours a day, 8760 hours per year. Temperature<br />

of air-gas mix emission is 25 о С.<br />

Annual receipt of oil in tank has made 292 tons. Oil density is 0.9t/m 3 .<br />

Oil volume which has ingress in tank is equal:<br />

V = 292 : 0.9t/m 3 = 3.24m 3<br />

Amount of the hydrocarbons departing from a source is defined by method [5],<br />

taking into account specific losses.<br />

For oil the specific losses are equal 4 х 10 -6 t/m 3 , according to method 1 [5].<br />

Emissions of hydrocarbons are equal:<br />

М сн = 3,24 м 3 х 4t/m 3 х10 -6 = 0.000013t/y = 0.0000004g/s<br />

Boiler house chimney<br />

The source of heat supply of <strong>Surgil</strong> CGTU objects accepts a boiler-house. A source<br />

of emissions will be chimney of boiler house by height of 15m, by diameter of 0.264m. Fuel<br />

gas flow for boiler house will make 10.3m3/hour or 0.003m3/sec. Temperature of<br />

combustion gases discharge makes 225°C. Action period is 3520h/year.<br />

Gas combustion heat 45 MJ/kg. If the gas density is 0.81kg/m 3 , so gas weight flow<br />

make 2.43g/sec. Emissions of harmful substances in atmosphere during gas popping are<br />

calculated according to method [4] and will make:<br />

М СО = 0.001 х 2.43 х 0.5 х 0.5 х 45 х 0.995 = 0.0272g/sec = 0.3447t/year<br />

М NO2 = 0.001х 2.43 х 45 х 0.09 х 0.8 = 0.0079g/sec = 0.1001t/year<br />

М NO = 0.001х 2.43 х 45 х 0.09 х 0.2 = 0.002g/sec = 0.0253t/year<br />

Total emission from boiler house makes 0.4701t/year.<br />

Internal combustion engine (ICE)<br />

Source of emissions will be the diesel generator used for the electric power<br />

generation. Source height is 3m, diameter is 0.2m. Temperature of exhaust gases discharge<br />

is 120°C. Action period is 24hour/day, 8760hour/year.<br />

Diesel fuel rate for ICE operation will make 0.293t/day or 106.945 tons in time of<br />

action period 365 days.<br />

Total and maximum-one-time emissions during ICE operation will make:<br />

М NO2 = 106945kg х 30g/kg х 10 -6 = 3,20835t/year = 0.101736g/sec<br />

М СО = 106945kg х 25g/kg х 10 -6 = 2.67363t/year = 0.08478g/sec<br />

М SO2 = 106945kg х 10g/kg х 10 -6 =1.06945t/year = 0.033912g/sec<br />

М СН = 106945kg х 12g/kg х 10 -6 = 1.28334t/year = 0.040694g/sec<br />
