5 POSSIBLE EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ANALYSIS<br />

Emergency is understood as a situation on the industrial enterprise at which raw<br />

materials, intermediate products, production of the enterprise and the production wastes,<br />

installed process equipment on industrial area, being involved in emergency process create<br />

strike factors for the personnel, population, environment and industrial enterprise.<br />

There are possible during emergencies and damages of the process equipment and<br />

pipelines:<br />

- fire hazard;<br />

- explosion;<br />

- electrical shock.<br />

Sources of fire hazard and explosion are formed explosive air-gas mixes.<br />

One of the basic substances participating in technological process (extraction, main<br />

transport and processing) is natural gas. Natural gas is explosive and fire-hazardous<br />

substance and can have toxic impact on a human organism at the raised concentrations<br />

(more than 10 %), have no color and a smell.<br />

There can escape gas condensate from gas in process of drying and processing. Gas<br />

condensate concerns to inflammable liquids with wide fluctuations of the hydrocarbonic<br />

components content.<br />

Except of the specified substances, there is used turbine oil in technological process,<br />

which is combustible, fire-hazardous liquid of oil origin.<br />

Origin of the emergencies is possible because of various failure modes:<br />

- technological failure caused by breakdown of manufacture technological<br />

mode or separate technological process;<br />

- mechanical failures caused by partial or full destruction, or deterioration of<br />

the process equipment or separate details;<br />

- technical-organizationalfailures caused by stopping delivery of raw<br />

materials, electric power, personnel errors, etc.;<br />
