barn (technologist, unit driver and operator), duration of operation is 1 day. Scope and types of<br />
works, and also required quantity of materials for suppression of sulfate reducing bacteria in cuttings<br />
storage barn are resulted in table 8.1.<br />

8.6.16. After realization of measures for drilling cuttings neutralization from hydrogen sulfide, on<br />
the expiry of 2 days, there are begins works on drilling cuttings neutralization/hardening.<br />
Whereas that drilling cuttings contains oil products in small amounts, it is necessary to add<br />
to binding substance – Portland cement quicklime in quantity to 20% from cement. Also, for<br />
reduction of consumable it is allowed bentonite addition in drilling cuttings, concerning to<br />
IV danger class – low-hazard dangerous wastes. In the case of EСO-2hardener use there is<br />
not required consumables.<br />
8.6.17. This stage of neutralization/hardening of the upper, moving, fluid layer of drilling cuttings is<br />
carried out manually or mechanically, at contractor discretion, under condition of strict observance<br />
of labor safety rules and operational experience on drilling wastes disposal in cuttings<br />
storage barn in the Southwest Gissar and Kandym fields.<br />
8.6.18. With a glance of DSW clarification and time of drilling cuttings sludge for DSW evaporation,<br />
it is accepted, that before the beginning of works on drilling cuttings neutralization/hardening,<br />
the liquid phase practically is absent and there is to 40-50sm of semi-fluid<br />
paste-like phase on barn surface (calculations of thickness volume of evaporation of water<br />
are resulted in Appendix 3).<br />
8.6.19. Prior to the beginning of works there is carried out preliminary survey of the barn territories,<br />
one of the barn sides near which there is the plain and cleared area for engineering, is accepted<br />
for base and there is made hollows excavation by excavator from three opposite sides<br />
into the perimeter of barn (in 3-4 hollows from each side) for liquid phase leavings running<br />
off from lenses. All works on drilling cuttings mixing and cuttings storage barn alignment<br />
are executed from the base side.<br />
