After the magazine isinserted the machine detects the paper width and surface by the set code. By means of the slides on the magazine thewidth and surface of the inserted paper mustbe coded as defined in the paper settings(see Defining Paper Widths and DefiningSurfaces in Chapter 4).CAUTION!A machine can only detect the papercorrectly if the magazine is codedprecisely as defined in the paper settings.Codes that are not matching causeproduction problems.6.2.1.6 Inserting a Paper MagazineNoteDo not use two paper magazines with the same code at the same time in the machine!MSC1B035bNoteAfter a paper magazine was inserted theMinilab determines the paper length.
