EIA for the proposed Hulhule-Male’ Bridge Project − If a diesel generator is used, it should be placed indoors, the doors and windows should have sound insulation and a silencer must be installed at the air inlet and outlet. The sound isolation, noise elimination and vibration reduction measures are taken for air compressor and ventilator in the production area. 2.7.5 Health and Safety Measures − The contractor would ensure that Health and Safety procedures are complied with at all times. − Construction activities would be carried out under the supervision of a suitably experienced person. − All reasonable precautions will be taken for the safety of employees, and equipment will be operated by competent persons. − Warning signs, barricades or warning devices will be provided and used. Necessary safety gear will be worn at all times. − Fire extinguishing equipment would be readily available and employees will be trained in its use.
