D. Judging<br />
1. 75 percent on handling of reins and whip, control, posture,<br />
and overall appearance of the driver.<br />
2. 25 percent on the condition of the harness and vehicle and<br />
neatness of attire.<br />
T10. ya walk/Trot Division, 11 & under<br />
A. Age – Youth competing in the YA Walk/Trot Division must be<br />
eleven (11) years old or younger as of January 1 annually.<br />
B. ROM Points – No ROM points are awarded to any Walk/Trot<br />
Division class, as this is an entry level division. PtHA will issue<br />
Year-End Certificates to Youth exhibitors in the Walk/Trot<br />
Division annually.<br />
C. Walk/Trot Division Class Limitations – A Youth Exhibitor<br />
entered in any Walk/Trot Division class may not cross enter in<br />
to any Leadline or any class or event that requires a lope or<br />
canter with any <strong>Pinto</strong> at the same show.<br />
D. Walk/Trot Division Class Exceptions – A Youth Exhibitor<br />
entered in any Walk/Trot Division class may cross enter in to<br />
driving or In-hand classes with any <strong>Pinto</strong> at the same show.<br />
E. Showmanship – If a show offers a Walk/Trot Division<br />
Showmanship class or classes, an Exhibitor entered in any<br />
YA Walk/Trot Division class is only eligible to enter the Walk/<br />
Trot Division Showmanship with the <strong>Pinto</strong> being exhibited in<br />
the Walk/Trot events. He/she may not cross enter into any<br />
other Showmanship class with the Walk/Trot <strong>Pinto</strong>. If no Walk/<br />
Trot Division Showmanship class is offered, then the Walk/Trot<br />
Division Youth Exhibitor may show in his/her age appropriate<br />
Showmanship class.<br />
F. Ownership – The <strong>Pinto</strong> must be owned by the Youth or<br />
immediate family member, or must be leased by the Youth<br />
member.<br />
G. Membership – The Youth competing must be a current PtHA<br />
Youth member to exhibit in the Walk/Trot Division.<br />
H. Classes – Any horse show class can be held in the Walk/Trot<br />
Division, provided that the lope/canter/gallop has been omitted<br />
from the class specifications.<br />
I. Gymkhana – If a <strong>Pinto</strong> breaks into a lope/canter/gallop for<br />
more than three (3) consecutive strides during a Walk/Trot<br />
division Gymkhana class, the entry shall be disqualified and<br />
given a no-time.<br />
J. Equipment/Attire – to follow the class offered, see Sections K<br />
& N.<br />
T11. leadline, English or western, 8 & under<br />
A. Age – Youth competing in Leadline must be eight (8) years of<br />
age or younger, as of January 1 annually.<br />
B. ROM Points – No ROM points awarded in the Leadline<br />
classes, as this is an entry level class. PtHA will issue to<br />
owners of all <strong>Pinto</strong>s used in YA Leadline classes Year-End<br />
Certificates in the name(s) of Youth exhibitor(s) annually.<br />
C. Leadline Class Limitations – A Youth Exhibitor entered in a<br />
Leadline class may not cross enter into any of the following<br />
classes with any <strong>Pinto</strong> at the same show:<br />
1. Walk/Trot Division classes<br />
2. Any other astride class<br />
D. Leadline Class Exceptions – Leadline exhibitors may cross<br />
enter into any in-hand class.<br />
E. Showmanship – If a show offers a Leadline Division<br />
Showmanship class or classes, an Exhibitor entered in any<br />
YA Leadline Division class is only eligible to enter the Leadline<br />
Division Showmanship with the <strong>Pinto</strong> being exhibited in the<br />
Leadline events. He/she may not cross enter into any other<br />
Showmanship class with the Leadline <strong>Pinto</strong>. If no Leadline<br />
Division Showmanship class is offered, then the Leadline<br />
