1. Youth Division Annual High Point age groups:<br />
a. 13 & Under<br />
b. 14-18<br />
2. The ten (10) units in each of the two (2) Youth Division age<br />
groups earning the highest number of points overall shall<br />
constitute the OCAP Youth Overall High Point winners. An<br />
appropriate certificate shall be prepared and presented<br />
to each Youth, and the OCAP High Point winners will be<br />
published in the <strong>Pinto</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> online magazine.<br />
3. The ten (10) units earning highest number of points in<br />
each of the individual Youth Division point-earning events<br />
during the year will be recognized as the OCAP Youth High<br />
Point winners for each point earning event. An appropriate<br />
certificate shall be prepared and presented to each Youth,<br />
and the OCAP High Point winners will be published in the<br />
<strong>Pinto</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> online magazine.<br />
C. Open Division<br />
1. The <strong>Pinto</strong> earning more Open Division points during the<br />
year than any other of its peers has earned in a given<br />
event will be named OCAP <strong>Pinto</strong> of the Year in that event.<br />
An appropriate certificate shall be prepared and presented<br />
to the owner of said <strong>Pinto</strong>, and the name of the <strong>Pinto</strong><br />
and owner will be published in the <strong>Pinto</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> online<br />
magazine.<br />
2. Each of the next nine (9) highest point-earning <strong>Pinto</strong>s for<br />
that year in each event will be so designated as OCAP<br />
Honorable Mention and be published in the <strong>Pinto</strong> <strong>Horse</strong><br />
magazine.<br />
Z. on THE TRail – Recreational <strong>Pinto</strong> Program<br />
Z1. Purpose<br />
The program is designed to promote members and his/her<br />
Regular Registry and Breeding Stock <strong>Pinto</strong>, who ride, drive, or<br />
work in-hand for recreation or leisure purposes, by providing a<br />
special recognition program for his/her achievements.<br />
A. Eligibility<br />
1. Participants must be current members of PtHA for<br />
the entire time in which hours are recorded toward a<br />
recognition level.<br />
2. Lapses in membership will result in loss of hours.<br />
3. Memberships in PtHA run from January 1 to December 31<br />
4. <strong>Pinto</strong>s used in this program must be permanently<br />
registered before accumulating any hours.<br />
5. Participants do not have to own or lease the <strong>Pinto</strong> he/she<br />
are using in this program.<br />
B. Enrollment in On The Trail Program<br />
1. An application must be submitted to PtHA prior to<br />
recording hours for each <strong>Pinto</strong> participant combination and<br />
include the one-time enrollment fee. See Fee Schedule.<br />
2. No substitutions of <strong>Pinto</strong>s or participants are allowed.<br />
C. Eligible Time Activities<br />
1. Time may be recorded for any non-show or competitive<br />
related activity in which a member participates by riding,<br />
driving or working in-hand.<br />
2. This may include time spent while riding, driving or working<br />
in-hand in a group, but not limited to, participating in a<br />
parade, a drill team, therapeutic riding or lessons.<br />
3. It may also include lungeing, practicing in-hand patterns,<br />
attending walks and other in-hand activities.<br />
D. Recording Eligible Time<br />
1. A separate <strong>Official</strong> Time Log must be maintained for each<br />
<strong>Pinto</strong> enrolled in the program.<br />
