D. The OCAP program is open to all PtHA members and PtHA<br />
registered horses in good standing who have enrolled in the<br />
program.<br />
y2. show approval<br />
A. Approvals run from January 1 to the following December 31.<br />
Show approvals must be renewed annually.<br />
B. Shows approved by <strong>Association</strong>s listed on the PtHA<br />
Recognized <strong>Association</strong>s/Approved Outcross Breed<br />
<strong>Association</strong>s list receive automatic approval.<br />
C. Any club, association, futurity or individual class that is<br />
not listed on the PtHA Recognized <strong>Association</strong>s/Approved<br />
Outcross Breed <strong>Association</strong>s list may apply for OCAP show<br />
approval. To receive approval, club management must submit<br />
an OCAP approval application along with show premium list,<br />
which will be reviewed before points are awarded.<br />
D. PtHA reserves the right to accept or reject submitted show<br />
approvals.<br />
E. Submit a copy of:<br />
1. Show rules<br />
2. Show bill (for each show)<br />
3. Proof of point record (High Point/Year End awards)<br />
4. Names of judges (for each show)<br />
5. Names, phone numbers, and signatures of all show<br />
secretaries<br />
F. Approval or Denial<br />
1. The show will be notified in writing of approval or denial.<br />
2. Letters of notification will contain a Club ID number and<br />
Individual Show ID numbers.<br />
3. Letters may be posted for the benefit of exhibitors.<br />
G. Shows that are NOT eligible for OCAP points.<br />
1. PtHA approved ROM classes at <strong>Pinto</strong> shows.<br />
2. Fun, Training, or Schooling shows<br />
3. Proper show attire not required<br />
4. Training equipment allowed<br />
y3. <strong>Pinto</strong>, owner, Exhibitor Eligibility<br />
A. <strong>Pinto</strong>s participating in OCAP must have a permanent PtHA<br />
registration number.<br />
B. Owner(s) of record must be current members of PtHA.<br />
C. Lessee(s), if applicable, must be current members of PtHA.<br />
D. Lease must be on file with the PtHA office.<br />
E. Exhibitor(s) must have current PtHA memberships in the<br />
appropriate category, i.e. Youth, Individual.<br />
y4. Enrollment<br />
A. Enrollment in the OCAP program is from January 1 to the<br />
following December 31. Must be renewed annually.<br />
B. An enrollment form and fees must be submitted for each <strong>Pinto</strong>.<br />
(See Fee Schedule)<br />
C. Enrollment is not complete until the owner receives the OCAP<br />
enrollment card.<br />
D. Points earned prior to enrollment in the OCAP program will not<br />
be accepted.<br />
y5. oCaP Class Eligibility<br />
A. PtHA rules will determine the eligibility of any class or event<br />
submitted for OCAP consideration.<br />
B. Only classes that match those listed in the PtHA <strong>Rule</strong> <strong>Book</strong> are<br />
eligible for consideration in this program.<br />
C. Classes must be clearly titled to correspond with class titles<br />
as they appear in the PtHA <strong>Rule</strong> <strong>Book</strong>. (i.e. “Stake Race”, not<br />
“Stakes”)<br />
D. Gymkhana classes must be titled to correspond with the<br />
pattern used and diagramed in the PtHA <strong>Rule</strong> <strong>Book</strong>.<br />
E. Novice/ Non-Pro level of competition (i.e. Eventing) will be<br />
accepted.<br />
