Business Office a minimum of forty-five (45) days prior to<br />
the first date of any proposed show.<br />
2. A completed and signed application for show approval<br />
shall consist of the following:<br />
a. A signed Show Approval Application for the current<br />
year.<br />
b. A premium list/show bill of all classes for horses in<br />
the entire show, whether or not all of the classes are<br />
limited to PtHA registered horses.<br />
c. Names of Judges.<br />
(1) Judges must be selected from the current<br />
approved list of PtHA Judges.<br />
(2) Upon request, the PtHA office will furnish a list of<br />
qualified and approved Judges to organizations,<br />
charters, or persons sponsoring a show or<br />
contest.<br />
d. A copy of entry form to be used.<br />
e. The appropriate show approval fees must be included.<br />

D. All applications and plans for the show must conform to the<br />
complete PtHA <strong>Pinto</strong> Show <strong>Rule</strong>s as set forth in this rule book.<br />
The correctness of the class list as submitted to PtHA is the<br />
responsibility of the Show Committee. PtHA is not responsible<br />
for any errors or omissions on such list.<br />
E. Back-to-back shows (one complete show on Saturday and<br />
one complete show on Sunday) and multi-judge shows (two<br />
or more judges in the ring working independently) are each<br />
separate shows and must have separate applications.<br />
F. Signatures on Applications for Show Approval<br />
1. Directors may sign as authorized representatives on show<br />
approvals for open and other breed shows with <strong>Pinto</strong><br />
classes.<br />
2. State or County Fair <strong>Horse</strong> show directors/managers may<br />
sign for state or county fair shows offering <strong>Pinto</strong> classes.<br />
G. Application Approval<br />
1. If the application is satisfactory, the PtHA business office<br />
will issue a statement of official approval.<br />
2. If the application is not satisfactory, the PtHA Business<br />
Office will either notify show officials of what factors(s)<br />
need to be rectified so that the show or contest may be<br />
approved.<br />
3. The PtHA Business Office shall notify show officials and<br />
give the reason(s) for disapproval.<br />
4. Charters and/or show sponsors may not post show<br />
premiums/bills until PtHA show approval has been<br />
received. Posting show information before a show has<br />
been approved could result in a fine issued by PtHA<br />
H. Failure to complete Show Application<br />
1. Failure of any individual to acknowledge and respond to<br />
the PtHA correspondence regarding application for show<br />
approval will result in that application being closed and<br />
“Dead Filed” and all fees forfeited after 120 days.<br />
2. Upon receipt of incomplete work, the PtHA Business Office<br />
will contact the individual listed as the contact person on<br />
the Show Approval Application in writing. If requested items<br />
are not forthcoming within thirty (30) additional days, a<br />
second written notice will be mailed. If requested items are<br />
still not forthcoming within an additional thirty (30) days, a<br />
final notice will be mailed. If no correspondence is received<br />
by the PtHA Office within thirty (30) days thereafter the file<br />
will be closed and “Dead Filed”. All monies paid shall be<br />
forfeited.<br />
