the PtHA registration department. To qualify for eligibility<br />

of the Conditional Program, applicant must be a member<br />

of PtHA or applying for membership and MUST furnish<br />

the PtHA representative with ALL documents and fees<br />

required for registration. After receiving all documents<br />

and fees required, the PtHA Field Representative will<br />

issue a Conditional Registration Certificate which allows<br />

the applicant to show at PtHA approved show up to 90<br />

days or until the application is accepted or rejected by the<br />

PtHA Registration Department. All final determination of<br />

registration eligibility remains with the PtHA office.<br />

a. Conditional Registration Applications, complete with<br />

payment, photos and all supporting documentation<br />

must be sent to the PtHA Office within fifteen (15)<br />

days of issue, or Field Representative credits will be<br />

forfeited.<br />

b. Conditional Registration Applications still incomplete<br />

ninety (90) days from date of issue will be “Dead<br />

Filed”, and considered null and void.<br />

5. The name of the breeder on the registration application<br />

must exactly match the name of the owner of the dam as it<br />

appears on the dam’s registration papers or on the official<br />

lease documents.<br />

B. Materials And Procedures<br />

1. Application<br />

a. Proof of Ancestry: A complete breeder’s certificate<br />

must be submitted with the application for animals to<br />

be registered with pedigree or background shown. A<br />

current copy of the approved outcross Registration<br />

Certificate verifying current ownership and pedigree<br />

may be submitted in lieu of the breeder’s certificate.<br />

A copy of the sire and/or dam outcross papers if not<br />

PtHA registered, may be required.<br />

b. Photographs: Four (4) current color photographs; one<br />

of each full side, one full frontal view and one full rear<br />

view are required. Photos should include all parts of<br />

the horse available in that view and be unobstructed<br />

by tack (halter acceptable), any other horses, riders, or<br />

fences in the foreground. Additional photos should be<br />

submitted to show color not evident in the usual four<br />

(4) photos mentioned herein. Scanned or computer<br />

generated photos printed on photographic quality<br />

paper are acceptable. Photographs must be a true and<br />

unaltered representation of the animal.<br />

c. Fees: Appropriate fees must accompany the<br />

application. All fees are non-refundable and must be in<br />

US Dollars.<br />

d. Animals not meeting minimum color requirements, but<br />

are otherwise eligible, will automatically be placed in<br />

the Breeding Stock Division.<br />

2. Acceptance<br />

a. Upon receipt of a completed Registration Application,<br />

eligibility will be determined and a Registration<br />

Certificate issued. Any questionable case presented<br />

by the PtHA Office will be reviewed by the Executive<br />

Committee. The decision of the Executive Committee<br />

shall be final.<br />

b. If either the PtHA Office, the Executive Committee,<br />

or Board of Directors deems it necessary, a personal<br />

inspection by a PtHA Representative may be required<br />

prior to making a final decision. The owner of the<br />

animal in question will be responsible for taking the<br />
