length (below the knee) skirts are acceptable attire in all Halter<br />

classes, if in good taste. See <strong>Rule</strong> G8.<br />

F. In the Halter division(s) the Championship shall be awarded<br />

to one of the entries which has placed first in the qualifying<br />

class. After the Championship has been awarded, the entry<br />

which has placed second in the qualifying class to the entry<br />

awarded the Championship shall compete with the remaining<br />

first place winners for the Reserve Championship. Should any<br />

first place winners in a qualifying class not compete for the<br />

Championship, the second place entry may be moved up for<br />

Championship consideration.<br />

G. Only the first and second place <strong>Pinto</strong>s in a Halter class,<br />

regardless of conformation type, sex, or age may compete for<br />

Champion or Reserve Champion at Halter.<br />

H. Halter classes for all sexes and ages of <strong>Pinto</strong>s must be offered<br />

on the show bill whenever Halter classes are offered. All ages<br />

shall compete for Championships.<br />

I. Age groups of the same sex may be combined when there<br />

are insufficient entries, with points awarded to the appropriate<br />

ribbon winners.<br />

J. Although it is not recommended, sexes may be combined within<br />

age groups or by conformation type when there are insufficient<br />

entries, with points awarded to the appropriate ribbon winners.<br />

K. When Halter classes are divided by conformation type, there<br />

must be separate Halter Champion and Reserve awards by<br />

type. When two or more Halter classes are combined and<br />

these classes represent all of the combined <strong>Pinto</strong>s (example:<br />

stallions/geldings or PL/SD types), Champion and Reserve<br />

classes connected to these classes must also be combined.<br />

L. It shall be the decision of the Show Committee to divide into<br />

preliminary sections and finals, combine, or cancel classes.<br />
