4. Youth Open Certificate of Merit in Stock Seat Equitation<br />

and in Either Hunter Seat or Saddle Seat Equitation.<br />

Y18. Open Certificate of Superior Performance<br />

Open Division/ Youth Division exhibitors are advanced to<br />

Open Certificate of Superior Performance when they have:<br />

A. Open horse – earned 1400 OCOM points in a category.<br />

B. Open pony/miniature – earned 875 OCOM points in a<br />

category.<br />

C. Youth – earned 1400 OCOM points in a category.<br />

Y19. Open Certificate of Grand Champion<br />

Open Division/ Youth Division exhibitors are advanced to<br />

Open Certificate of Grand Champion when they have:<br />

A. Open – earned 1,975 OCOM points in a category.<br />

B. Youth – earned 1,975 OCOM points in a category.<br />

Y20. Open Certificate of Supreme Champion<br />

Open Division/ Youth Division exhibitors are advanced to<br />

Open Certificate of Supreme Champion when they have:<br />

A. Open horse – earned 5,285 OCOM points in a category.<br />

B. Open pony/miniature – earned 4,785 OCOM points in a<br />

category.<br />

C. Youth – earned 5,285 OCOM points in a category.<br />

y21. Points approval<br />

A. PtHA reserves the right to accept or deny OCAP points<br />

submitted and to investigate the conditions under which said<br />

points may have been earned.<br />

B. PtHA will have final approval for any or all associations and<br />

events.<br />

C. No refunds will be issued.<br />

y22. oCaP, <strong>Pinto</strong> of the year and youth High Point<br />

A. General <strong>Rule</strong>s and Regulations<br />

1. The <strong>Pinto</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> <strong>Association</strong> will make annual awards<br />

based upon the number of points earned by an Open<br />

Division or Youth Division exhibitor during that year of<br />

competition in each of the approved events in which points<br />

are awarded at OCAP approved shows.<br />

2. Points will be computed on a yearly basis from January 1<br />

to the following December 31. <strong>Horse</strong>, Pony, or Miniature of<br />

the Year and Youth High Point standings close December<br />

31 of each year. Results postmarked after the December<br />

31 date will not be included in the standings.<br />

3. To be eligible for any award in this program, the owner(s)<br />

of record, or lessee(s) (if applicable), and the Open or<br />

Youth exhibitor must be current members of PtHA.<br />

4. All <strong>Pinto</strong>s (<strong>Horse</strong>s, Ponies, or Miniatures) eligible to<br />

participate in the PtHA Open Division OCAP awards<br />

program are eligible for OCAP <strong>Pinto</strong> of the Year awards.<br />

5. All Youth exhibitors eligible to participate in the PtHA Youth<br />

Division OCAP program are eligible for Youth High Point<br />

awards.<br />

6. Tentative OCAP <strong>Pinto</strong> of the Year and Youth High Point<br />

placings are posted on the Web site throughout the<br />

season.<br />

a. It is the responsibility of all persons interested in OCAP<br />

Youth High Point and OCAP <strong>Pinto</strong> of the Year awards<br />

to check the tentative results.<br />

b. Once the annual standings have been published in the<br />

<strong>Pinto</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> online magazine, they will be considered<br />

official.<br />

c. PtHA reserves the right to correct verifiable errors.<br />
