MEMBERsHiP<br />
B. The <strong>Pinto</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> Quarterly is included with all memberships<br />
and by request.<br />
a6. Member in Good standing<br />
A member in good standing, as those terms are used in<br />
this <strong>Rule</strong> <strong>Book</strong>, is an individual whose membership application<br />
has been approved in accordance with PtHA Bylaws, who<br />
has paid the requisite membership fee, and who is not under<br />
current suspension from the PtHA.<br />
a7. Membership for Judges<br />
Memberships must be Individual or Life and are due<br />
September 15th annually, in order for these officials to remain<br />
on the PtHA Approved Judges list. If the membership is not<br />
paid, full applications, fees, and procedures must be initiated<br />
again.<br />
a8. Membership for Directors<br />
Memberships must be Individual or Life and are due<br />
January 1 annually, in order for these officials to remain in the<br />
position held.<br />
a9. Membership for Executive Committee<br />
Memberships must be Individual or Life and are due<br />
January 1 annually, in order for these officials to remain in the<br />
position held.<br />
a10. Membership for Field Representatives<br />
Memberships must be Individual or Life and are due<br />
January 1 annually, in order for these officials to remain in the<br />
position held.<br />
a11. Membership for standing Committee Members<br />
Memberships must be Individual or Life and are due<br />
January 1 annually, in order for these individuals to remain in<br />
the position held.<br />
a12. Membership Mailing service<br />
PtHA will provide a service of mailing for Charters and<br />
approved organizations, charging the actual postage and a<br />
handling fee. All materials to be mailed must be approved by<br />
PtHA.<br />
a13. Provided Membership Mailing list<br />
PtHA will provide to Charters, upon request from the<br />
Charter President, names and addresses of the national<br />
members who reside in the geographical region for the sole<br />
purpose of Charter activities.<br />
B. GEnERal oPERaTion RulEs<br />
B1. PtHa authority Concerning Registration and <strong>Rule</strong>s<br />
A. The rules and registration numbers of this <strong>Association</strong> take<br />
precedence over those of any other <strong>Association</strong>.<br />
B. PtHA reserves the right to make any changes in these rules,<br />
regulations, standards, or requirements as deemed at any<br />
time, to be in the best interests of the <strong>Association</strong> and the<br />
breed.<br />
C. Every approved show and every person participating therein<br />
including exhibitor, owner, lessee, manager, agent, rider,<br />
driver, handler, judge, show representative, show official, or<br />
employee, is subject to the Constitution, Bylaws and <strong>Rule</strong>s of<br />
PtHA.<br />
D. Any rule changes enacted between printings of the PtHA<br />
<strong>Rule</strong> <strong>Book</strong> and/or supplement shall be published in a manner<br />
determined by the <strong>Association</strong>, but at a minimum posted on<br />
the PtHA Web site and published in the PtHA official magazine.<br />
It shall be the responsibility of each individual member to<br />
become familiar with all such changes.<br />
E. Changes to the rules made by way of Amendment to forms<br />
shall be made in accordance with <strong>Rule</strong>s B.1B and B.1D above.<br />
