C. YA unit: A Register Of Merit in each of six (6) separate<br />

individual performance events , including showmanship,<br />

equitation, horsemanship and reinsmanship.<br />

H7. Certificate Of Superior Ability<br />

<strong>Pinto</strong>s/AM units/YA units are advanced to Certificate of<br />

Superior Ability upon earning the following:<br />

A. Open <strong>Horse</strong>: A Register of Excellence in each of four (4)<br />

separate individual performance events.<br />

B. Open Pony/Miniature: A Register of Excellence in each of<br />

three (3) separate individual performance events.<br />

C. AM unit: A Register of Excellence in each of four (4) separate<br />

individual performance events, including Showmanship,<br />

Equitation, <strong>Horse</strong>manship and Reinsmanship.<br />

D. YA unit: A Register of Excellence in each of four (4) separate<br />

individual performance events, including Showmanship,<br />

Equitation, <strong>Horse</strong>manship and Reinsmanship.<br />

H8. Certificate Of Superior Achievement<br />

<strong>Pinto</strong>s/AM units/YA units are advanced to Certificate of<br />

Superior Achievement upon earning the following:<br />

A. Open: A Register of Excellence in each of six (6) separate<br />

individual performance events.<br />

B. Open Pony/Mini: A Register of Excellence in of four (4)<br />

separate individual performance events.<br />

C. AM unit: A Register of Excellence in each of six (6) separate<br />

individual performance events, including Showmanship,<br />

Equitation, <strong>Horse</strong>manship and Reinsmanship.<br />

D. YA unit: A Register of Excellence in each of six (6) separate<br />

individual performance events, including Showmanship,<br />

Equitation, <strong>Horse</strong>manship and Reinsmanship.<br />

H9. Versatility award<br />

<strong>Pinto</strong>s/AM units/YA units are advanced to Versatility Award<br />

upon earning the following:<br />

A. Open: 65 Halter points in a regular qualifying Halter class;<br />

earned a performance Register of Excellence; earned a<br />

Register Of Merit in six (6) separate individual performance<br />

events, with two (2) being under Western equipment and two<br />

(2) under English, and the remaining being optional.<br />

B. AM unit: 65 points in either Western or English Showmanship,<br />

but not a combination of both; an Amateur Register of<br />

Excellence in any event; an Amateur Register Of Merit in<br />

three (3) separate individual performance events (excluding<br />

Showmanship, Equitation, <strong>Horse</strong>manship and Reinsmanship),<br />

with two (2) being under Western equipment and one (1) under<br />

English equipment, or two (2) being under English equipment<br />

and one (1) under Western equipment; an Amateur Register Of<br />

Merit in Western <strong>Horse</strong>manship, and in either Hunter Seat or<br />

Saddle Seat Equitation.<br />

C. YA unit: 65 points in either Western or English Showmanship;<br />

a Youth Register of Excellence in any event; a Youth Register<br />

Of Merit in three (3) separate individual performance events<br />

(excluding Showmanship, Equitation, <strong>Horse</strong>manship and<br />

Reinsmanship), with two (2) being under Western equipment<br />

and one (1) under English equipment, or two (2) being under<br />

English equipment and one (1) under Western equipment; a<br />

Youth Register Of Merit in Western <strong>Horse</strong>manship, and in either<br />

Hunter Seat of Saddle Seat Equitation.<br />

D. Ponies and Miniatures shown exclusively in-cart and/or inhand<br />

receive a Versatility Award when they have completed the<br />

following requirements:<br />

1. 65 halter points and a performance Register of Excellence.<br />
