D. Leases for Amateur and Youth Members<br />
1. To be eligible for any Amateur or Youth award in the PtHA<br />
Register Of Merit program with a registered <strong>Pinto</strong> owned<br />
by anyone other than the applicable Amateur or Youth, or<br />
a member of his/her immediate family as defined in <strong>Rule</strong><br />
H2.,B.2., an official PtHA Lease Notification form must be<br />
on file with the PtHA office. Appropriate filing fee must be<br />
paid for the duration of the lease.<br />
2. A leased <strong>Pinto</strong> may be shown by both Youth and Amateur<br />
exhibitors and may earn both Youth and Amateur ROM<br />
points, provided the names of each of these exhibitors<br />
are shown on PtHA Lease Notification form as recorded<br />
lessees of said <strong>Pinto</strong>.<br />
E. Accumulation of Points<br />
1. The standard PtHA point system will be used. See <strong>Rule</strong><br />
G18.<br />
2. All Youth or Amateur <strong>Pinto</strong> shows must have PtHA approval.<br />
3. Triple points will be awarded from World Championship<br />
shows for the average placings and 1 set of points for each<br />
individual judges placings.<br />
4. YA or AM Halter will count toward PtHA YA or AM awards.<br />
5. Points earned in YA and AM classes accumulate only<br />
toward YA and AM awards.<br />
6. A lessee will accumulate all points toward year end<br />
awards, local, regional or national on a leased <strong>Pinto</strong> for<br />
Youth and/or Amateur events.<br />
7. Recorded owner will not accumulate Youth or Amateur<br />
points on a leased <strong>Pinto</strong> unless named as co-lessee on<br />
Lease Notification form for the duration of the lease.<br />
H3. Register of Merit<br />
A. <strong>Pinto</strong>s/AM units/YA units are advanced to Register Of Merit<br />
upon earning the following:<br />
1. Open: 35 ROM points in an individual event.<br />
2. AM unit: 35 ROM points in an individual event.<br />
3. YA unit: 35 ROM points in an individual event.<br />
B. It is possible for a <strong>Pinto</strong>/AM Unit/YA Unit to earn multiple ROM<br />
awards by competing in a variety of events.<br />
H4. Register of Excellence<br />
A. <strong>Pinto</strong>s/AM units/YA units are advanced to Register of<br />
Excellence upon earning the following:<br />
1. Open: 175 points in an individual event.<br />
2. AM unit: 175 points in an individual event.<br />
3. YA unit: 175 points in an individual event.<br />
B. It is possible for a <strong>Pinto</strong>/AM Unit/YA Unit to earn multiple ROM<br />
awards by competing in a variety of events.<br />
H5. Certificate Of Ability<br />
<strong>Pinto</strong>s/AM units/YA units are advanced to Certificate of<br />
Ability upon earning the following:<br />
A. Open: A Register Of Merit in each of four (4) separate<br />
individual performance events.<br />
B. AM unit: A Register Of Merit in each of four (4) separate<br />
individual performance events, including showmanship,<br />
equitation, horsemanship and reinsmanship.<br />
C. YA unit: A Register Of Merit in each of four (4) separate<br />
individual performance events, including showmanship,<br />
equitation, horsemanship and reinsmanship.<br />
H6. Certificate Of Achievement<br />
<strong>Pinto</strong>s/AM units/YA units are advanced to Certificate of<br />
Achievement upon earning the following:<br />
A. Open: A Register Of Merit in each of six (6) separate individual<br />
performance events.<br />
