YOUR JOURNEY<br />

Committing mistakes is innate to all people and hence inevitable. Errors<br />

which are varied in nature sometimes hurt us, our family, and our community<br />

which eventually make us feel guilty. Corrective measures can be taken to regain<br />

redemption of our dignity in the place we live in.<br />

This week’s episode will help you become assertive by taking a stand<br />

pertaining to a critical issue that affects your decision as a student and as an<br />

individual citizen. Values which we hold dear will be revealed and emphasized to<br />

enhance our thinking capacity and emotional stability.<br />

YOUR GOALS<br />

To be able to shape you into a clever discerning individual, your hands-on<br />

lessons must aim to:<br />

take a stand on critical issues brought up in the material viewed<br />

judge the relevance and truthfulness of the ideas listened to<br />

judge the relevance and worth of ideas, soundness of author’s reasoning,<br />

and the effectiveness of the presentation<br />

use the appropriate pitch, stress, juncture, and intonation<br />

analyze literature as a means of understanding unchanging values in a<br />

changing world<br />

determine tone, mood, technique, and purpose of the author<br />

change direct speech to indirect speech and vice – versa<br />

familiarize technical vocabulary for drama and theater (like stage<br />

directions)<br />
