Alba Bologna della Giallo 18 di
Savona è il compito di ogni oggetto
d’arte, anche nel campo
dell’oreficeria. Nascono così le sue
Catene d’Amore, collane che
compongono celebri versi di poesie
d’amore. Ogni artista-orefice, oltre
alle creazioni uniche su proprio
disegno e alle collezioni, proposte in
“tiratura limitata”, è in grado di
sviluppare e concretizzare i progetti
del proprio estimatore. Un’idea in più?
Perché non affidargli un gioiello di
famiglia da reinterpretare?
Inganni di cera
Enchanted Tricks
communicating and telling a story, an
emotion. This is what Alba Bologna of
Giallo 18 in Savona feels is the duty
of any art object, even in the jewelry
field. This is how her love chains are
born. They are necklaces that
compose famous verses of love
poetry. Each artist-goldsmith, in
addition to unique creations done in
single piece and collections, are
proposed in a “limited number”, and
are able to concretize your projects.
Why not give them a family jewel to
be redone?
So round, voluptuous, and juicy that you would like to grab it and sink your teeth
into it. But it is not a real fruit. It is an enchanting spell that Paola Nizzoli
Desiderato has cast on you. A hyperrealism that is almost exasperating, which digs
out of nature all of its most minute details, like the veins of the leaf, the curls of
the vine, the silk of the bud. It is not a slavish “true copy”. It is an act of love that
conquers. To create her works, Nizzoli Desiderato uses beeswax which she works by
hand following the ancient 17th century art of wax molding. A complex technique
which requires much time and manual ability, skills which risk disappearing, which
the artist uses as her expressive signature. “TRICKS: Hyper-realistic Sculptures
between Art and Science”, is her personal show that will be held in the art gallery
in port, Arte in Porto, until November 13.
Le pellicole d'astrazione di Christian Lebrat
The Abstract Films of Christian Lebrat
videoartista parigino Christian Lebrat.
The Martini & Ronchetti Art Gallery in Genoa is hosting a personal show
highlighting the work of the Parisian photographer, filmmaker, and video artist,
Christian Lebrat. The show is entitled, “Rubans Photographiques 1978 – 2011”, and
presents an anthology of the most famous “photographic ribbons” that Lebrat
composed using an old, and completely manual, camera. The final work is the result
of different poses that are superimposed or partially overlapping and which thereby
break the natural coordinates of temporal space. The effect is that of freezing the
passing of time, and the objects immersed in time, in an instant which holds all
simultaneously. Genoa is featured many times in the works of Christian Lebrat. In
“Pont de Cornigliano” the blue of the sky is trapped in the dark iron arches of the
railroad bridge, suggesting a rhythmic cadence of geometry played between the
darkness and the light. But in his triptych “Haut Fourneau” the fascination that the
artist feels for the periphery of the city - and for the changes that it has undergone
- emerges with greater strength. Lebrat immortalizes the last steel blast furnace of
Ilva di Cornigliano, before it was demolished, so that it will never be lost to memory.
This is how he tells it, “A giant beast, but injured, in agony. In a last good-bye I tried
to transfigure the monster in lighter forms, aerial, attractive. It was my way to
render homage to the men who built these steel mills, who bore their burdens,
leaving their sweat and their hopes.” The exhibition, “Rubans Photographiques
1978 – 2011” can be viewed from November 10 to December 31.
