Nell’incantevole cornice del porto di
Oneglia, si trova questo sfizioso “dipinto”
di buona cucina mediterranea,
rivisitata dal grande talento dello chef
Andrea Sarri secondo l’estro del
momento e il pescato del giorno.
Membro dal 2007 dei Jeunes
Restaurateurs d’Europe, Sarri l’anno
successivo ha conquistato anche l’ambita
stella Michelin proseguendo lungo un
cammino di ricerca della qualità assoluta.
Di rilievo anche l’allestimento del locale,
con i trentacinque coperti invernali che
d’estate si moltiplicano sulla banchina
del porto, permettendo di cenare in uno
scenario da sogno.
Framed by the enchanting harbor at
Oneglia, you will find this delicious
“drawing” of good Mediterranean
cuisine, thanks to the great talent of
chef, Andrea Sarri, according to the whim
of the moment and the catch of the day.
Member since 2007 of the Jeunes
Restaurateurs d’Europe, Sarri last year
even received a coveted Michelin star as
he continued on his quest for absolute
quality.
Even the setting is worthy of note with
its 35 winter seating places, which in the
summer are multiplied along the pier
allowing you to dine in a scenery that
seems out of a dream.
fermato. La “locanda medievale” Ai
Secoli Bui mette in campo la passione
dei due giovani proprietari Emilio Biga
(oste) e Igor Pescarolo (chef) per la
buona cucina e le antichità. Sulle
alabarde, gagliardetti e altri cimeli.
focacce. L’offerta si arricchisce spesso di
cene medievali con i tipici piatti
dell’epoca e animazione a tema.
Above San Bartolomeo, in the heart of
the Riviera of the Flowers, among the
narrow alleyways and tiny piazzas of the
village of Poiolo, there is a place where
time has stopped. At the medieval inn
called In the Dark Ages, “Ai Secoli Bui”,
you will find passion for good food and
ancient times in two young owners,
Emilio Biga (the host) and Igor Pescarolo
(the chef). On the ruins of what was once
a stables, and then an olive oil mill, diners
will now find a welcoming and
picturesque restaurant with stone walls
that are covered in armor, shields,
halbards, pennants, and other medieval
objects. Among their specialtes is the
Devil’s pizza, “Corna del diavolo” with hot
prosciutto from Umbria; many dishes of
meat, some of fish, and a delicious choice
of soups, crostoni, and foccacia. The
restaurant often offers medieval dinners
with typical dishes of the times and -
entertainment on theme.
Aperto tutti i giorni
Spesa 15-25 euro
Aperto alla fine del 2009 da un gruppo
di giovani imprenditori capitanati dal
vivace e propositivo Stefano Mannelli
nell’arredamento e nelle proposte.
promozionali. Nel tardo pomeriggio
presenta pantagruelici aperitivi a buffet,
Since its opening at the end of 2009,
thanks to a group of young entrepreneurs
with vivacious and enterprising Stefano
Mannelli (who in 2005 in the Riviera town
of Loano, was the youngest director of a
bingo hall in Italy), Movida has shown
itself to be an innovative restaurant in
terms of interior design and offerings.
During the day it is a place of cocktails
and a lounge bar where local merchants
and residents come for lunch to enjoy its
promotional menu. In the late afternoon
it begins to offer an enormous buffet,
until by evening it transforms into a classy
restaurant, with enticing
pizzeria, focacceria,
and grill menus.
