In punta di mouse
e di forchetta
On the Point of a Fork…and a Mouse
Ecco chi
sono i Foodblogger di casa nostra
Many Ligurians, filled with passion for good food, have created websites
where they propose new recipes or reinterpret traditional cuisine. Here are
some of the Food Bloggers of our region
Come descrivono
E’ arrivato a totalizzare 2
Aworld in constant ferment. This is Liguria at the
table. The comment comes from the food
bloggers on-line, among whom many of the most
important hail from Liguria. Personalities who using their
mouse and their fork, have created websites that are
highly praised, the fruit of their demented passion for
good food. When they get home after work (which often
relates to writing), they try out new recipes, they taste
them, and they paste them on their blogs, along with
culinary advice. On occasion they are transformed into
true commentators on regional gastronomy. The people
who click on these blogs are people in the business –
restaurant owners, wine and food journalists, trendsetters
– along with the general public of the curious,
food-lovers, epicures, and experimenters.
Who are the food bloggers in Liguria? How do they
describe regional cuisine from their very special point of
view? “A fusion cuisine is being developed”, explains the
brains behind La Piccola Casa, a blog run by the son of a
chemist who loves cooking. Genoese, Massimo Fattorini,
who in the technology century develops systems for big
companies and important Ligurian firms. His route as a
food blogger starts from the experimental, almost as if
he is dealing with some intriguing combination of
elements, an alchemy. Though he loves tripe, he is
devoted to fish. Since 2006 Fattorini has been creating
cuisine, posting recipes on internet, and exchanging
flashes of insight with the community that follows him.
In five years, he has reached 2.5 million hits.
Up until 2005, the blogosphere had few Ligurian flavors.
And it may even be true that Fiordisale – the blog by
another Genoese who in art is called Gìsella – was born
of a delusion. While searching for an idea for pesto alla
genovese, the blogger, who lives under the lighthouse
symbol of Genoa itself, found “the most incredible
recipe”, for which, she decided to do “something to give
back to this marvelous city all the good that it has given
