Il Comune dell’Alta Valbormida è stato inserito nell’aprile di quest’anno tra le città che producono il preziosissimo tubero,
a fianco di Alba, Norcia e Gubbio. A Millesimo lo scorso anno ne sono stati raccolti, tra tartufo bianco e nero,

This April the town of Millesimo in the Upper Bormida Valley was placed on the prestigious list of towns where
truffles can be found, alongside renowned Alba, Norcia and Gubbio. Last year’s harvest in Millesimo gathered
1,700 kilos of white and black truffles
Quattrocento chili di tartufo bianco, 1300 di
nero, fra pregiato, scorzone, moscato e nero
ordinario. E’ il quantitativo raccolto nel
2010 da circa 200 tartufai, è il biglietto di presentazione
di Millesimo, comune dell’Alta Valbormida,
ammesso nell’aprile 2011 nel ristretto e nobile club
delle Città del tartufo. A fianco di Alba e Asti, Norcia,
Gubbio, Acqualagna e poche altre, dunque,
anche un angolo della Liguria appenninica, una
terra di confine a cavallo tra la Riviera e il Basso
Piemonte, vicina alle Langhe, rinomata terra produttrice
del costosissimo tubero.

pregiato, scorzone, moscato, and nero ordinario.
This is the 2010 quality harvest of almost 200
truffles, and the calling card for Millesimo, a town in
the Alta Valbormida, which was admitted in 2011 into
the restricted and noble club of the Cities of the
Truffle. Alongside Alba and Asti, Norcia, Gubbio,
Acqualagna and very few others, there is now a
corner of Liguria, in its Apennine Mountains, a land
that straddles the Riviera and the Lower Piedmont,
near the Langhe, the land renowned as the host of
this extremely expensive and sought-after gourmet
