ABSTRACT<br />
This dissertation versa on Education Social performed by young educators who, in their<br />
life trajectories, belonged, on condition learners, to institutions of power assist public or<br />
of society organized civil. I chose as locus of accomplishment the study those Programs<br />
Crescer com Arte e Ci<strong>da</strong><strong>da</strong>nia and Ponte de Encontro, of Coordenadoria <strong>da</strong> Criança e do<br />
Adolescente-Funci, that possesses in your framework of officials this profile of<br />
educator. My idea went to fetch understand practices and senses that the referred <strong>social</strong><br />
educators build about his work, considering the Education Social developed within the<br />
aforementioned institution. The research was accomplished in city of Fortaleza, during<br />
the months of november and december 2011. I chose a qualitative research, because it<br />
restores the person studied in become an active subject in the construction of their<br />
experience. Thus, the research pointed that the development of pe<strong>da</strong>gogical practices<br />
based in Education Social, with the simple control objective, is not enough to drive the<br />
being to significant changes, but also revealed the art-education as important tool of<br />
Education Social. Showed, still, which the signings of young people <strong>social</strong> educators,<br />
for part of Coordenadoria-Funci, is not characterized one institutional policy. Other<br />
constructions pointed by research were the need to advance towards the relation theorypractice,<br />
for the consoli<strong>da</strong>tion of Education Social in institutional spaces; the need to<br />
overcome the disputes between the sciences and professional performances, in the sense<br />
of uniting efforts to consoli<strong>da</strong>te the area and the importance of educators <strong>social</strong> assume<br />
and defend theoretical presuppositions for subsidize their practices professionals.<br />
