Figure 9.3 indicates a slightly decreased Secchi-depth in the 1990’s in the Pomeranian Bay.
Changes in the lagoon are only minor.
During nearly all the year, the spatial pattern of transparency is the lowest in the Kleines Haff. Its
shallowness, slightly higher algae biomass and more pronounced resuspension of sediment are
possible reasons.
