Diese Korrelationseffekte sind in HF nicht enthalten (und bilden ein wesentliches Arbeitsgebiet<br />
der Quantenchemie sowie meiner Arbeitsgruppe).<br />

This potential ensures that electrons of the same spin avoid each other, i.e., it ensures<br />

Remaining problem: Coulomb repulsion is strong for short range ⇒ also electrons of<br />
different spin tend to avoid each other<br />
The treatment of these so-called correlation effects is what a large part of quantum<br />
chemistry is about!<br />
