A statistically significant difference in responses from different types <strong>of</strong> organizations has not
emerged. This implies that employees in different types <strong>of</strong> organizations agree that individual and
collective learning takes place not only in <strong>the</strong> frame <strong>of</strong> formal studies but also o<strong>the</strong>r environments
(including organizational). On <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r hand, new ideas may be not only planned but also
spontaneous.
Factor 6 focuses on learning for innovations.
The variables in this factor have average factor loadings. Only one statement has a weaker
correlation with <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r three (0,41). This kind <strong>of</strong> grouping in <strong>the</strong> factor implies that <strong>the</strong> employees
from <strong>the</strong> organizations in <strong>the</strong> survey have opportunities for learning, looking for ideas by different
means, but <strong>the</strong>y do not consider this a system <strong>of</strong> learning.

In this factor <strong>the</strong>re is no statistically significant difference in different types <strong>of</strong> organizations. However,
it may be noted that here <strong>the</strong>re is also a stronger support to <strong>the</strong> statements from non-governmental
non-pr<strong>of</strong>it organizations, in comparison to o<strong>the</strong>r types. It should also be noted that <strong>the</strong> respondents
were quite unanimous in pointing out that <strong>the</strong>y do not feel as if a learning system for reaching <strong>the</strong>
aims <strong>of</strong> innovative activity was functioning in <strong>the</strong>ir organizations (Mean=2,73; SD =1,36).
Still, in general <strong>the</strong> learning conditions in organizations are evaluated quite positively (total Mean =
4,13; SD = 1). This implies that <strong>the</strong> respondents do not relate <strong>the</strong> conditions <strong>of</strong> learning and
development to a targeted system for learning and development.
The seventh factor reflects idea resources in organizations.
The items in this factor have high and average factor loadings (0,83 – 0,49). The first item has a weak
correlation with <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r two items. In spite <strong>of</strong> this, <strong>the</strong> statements <strong>of</strong> this factor, <strong>the</strong> factor loadings
and internal correlation inform a meaningful interpretation.
There is no statistically significant difference in <strong>the</strong> responses from different types <strong>of</strong> organizations.
This implies that <strong>the</strong> factor is quite homogenous. It may be noted that <strong>the</strong> respondents are quite
strongly interested in ideas from o<strong>the</strong>r organizations (total Mean = 3,9; SD = 1,1). Their search for
ideas quite <strong>of</strong>ten relies on <strong>the</strong> internet (total Mean = 3,6; SD = 1,1).
Factor 8 reflects risk tolerance in organizations.
Two variables in this factor have quite high factor loadings and very high correlation (0,80 - 0, and
