The Florida regulations include requirements <strong>for</strong> planned indirect potable reuse by<br />

injection into water supply aquifers and augmentation of surface supplies. A minimum<br />

horizontal separation distance of 500 feet is required between reclaimed water injection<br />

wells and potable water supply wells. The injection regulations pertain to G-I, G-II, and<br />

F-I ground waters, all of which are classified as potable aquifers. Reclaimed water must<br />

meet G-II ground water standards prior to injection. G-II ground water standards are,<br />

<strong>for</strong> the most part, primary and secondary drinking water standards. Florida considers
