MCES Direction – Bryce Pickart The project will focus on industrial reuse of reclaimed wastewater on a statewide basis, with more specific focus given to the metro area. The project will identify potential industrial customers, evaluate treatment processes required and estimate the costs associated with providing reclaimed water to industrial users. The project will also evaluate regulations/ordinances and identify institutional barriers related to implementation of wastewater reuse. Project requested by legislator and is funded through the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCMR). 4. Project Overview & Initial Inquiry – Patti Craddock Refer to presentation slides. Industrial reuse of reclaimed wastewater will be evaluated on three levels (state, metro area, individual wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs)). Empire will be one case study of an individual WWTP.
