A Screens Reference<br />

Secondary D-channel<br />

Enter a 6- to 7-character port number associated with the DS1 Interface circuit pack<br />

port used <strong>for</strong> secondary D-channel signaling. Displays when the Associated Signaling<br />

field is n (indicates NFAS). The port number assigns the secondary D-channel in the<br />

Signaling Group. For 24-channel facilities, the 24th port is assigned as the D-channel.<br />

For 32-channel facilities, the 16th port is assigned as the D-channel.<br />

Valid entries<br />

Usage<br />

01 through 44 (G3r) First and second characters are the cabinet number<br />

01 through 03 (G3si)<br />

A through E<br />

Third character is the carrier<br />

01 through 20 Fourth and fifth characters are the slot number<br />

16 or 24 Sixth and seventh characters are the port<br />

blank<br />

Max Number of NCA TSC<br />

The maximum number of simultaneous Non-Call Associated Temporary Signaling<br />

Connections (NCA-TSCs) that can exist in the Signaling Group. This number<br />

includes all NCA-TSCs that are administered on this screen and those NCA-TSCs<br />

that tandem through the switch in-route to another switch in the network.<br />

Valid entries<br />

0 to 256.<br />

Usage<br />

Max number of CA TSC<br />

The maximum number of simultaneous Call Associated Temporary Signaling<br />

Connections (CA-TSCs) that can exist in the Signaling Group. Typically, the number<br />

of ISDN-PRI trunk group members controlled by the Signaling Group.<br />

Valid entries<br />

0 to 400.<br />

Usage<br />

Trunk Group For NCA TSC<br />

The ISDN-PRI trunk group number whose in<strong>com</strong>ing call handling table will be used<br />

to handle in<strong>com</strong>ing NCA-TSCs through the Signaling Group. Enter the assigned<br />

ISDN-PRI trunk group number whose call handling table will be used to route the<br />

in<strong>com</strong>ing NCA TSCs. (An ISDN-BRI trunk group may not be used.)<br />
