Clean and disinfect equipment and/or components before
any maintenance procedures – and before returning for
repair!
O2 sensor Replace sensor capsule in event of display
message:
O2 measurement inop
and if calibration is no longer possible.
Disposal, see page 168.
Ambient air filter and
Cooling air filter
Clean or replace after 4 weeks, see page 167.
Replace after 1 year.
Dispose of with normal domestic waste.
Filters in the compressed gas inlets To be replaced by trained service personnel
every 2 years.
Covering grid for heating patient part Clean after 4 weeks.
Dirt blocks the air inlet and reduces the heating
output.
Lithium battery for data protection To be replaced by trained service personnel
every 2 years.

Integrated battery of DC power
supply
Must be serviced in conjunction with halfyearly
inspections. To be replaced by trained
service personnel every two years at the latest.
Check capacity every six months!
Replace battery if necessary.
External battery (optional) Must be serviced in conjunction with halfyearly
inspections.
Check capacity every six months!
Replace battery if necessary.
Clock module To be replaced by trained service personnel
after 6 years.
Pressure reducer To be replaced every 6 years by
DrägerService.
Equipment inspection and service Every 6 months by trained service personnel.
Safety checks (only applies to the

Every 6 months in accordance with Art. 6
