Continuous Positive Airway Pressure
Assisted Spontaneous Breathing*
Spontaneous breathing at a raised pressure
level in order to increase the functional
residual capacity (FRC).
Spontaneous breathing can be assisted
with additional pressure by ASB.
Set the pattern of ventilation for CPAP
and CPAP/ASB with the following ventilation
parameters:
O2 concentration »O2«
Positive end-expiratory pressure »PEEP«
Pressure support »PASB«
Pressure rise time »Ramp«

To set:
● Touch the appropriate screen knob.
● Adjust to the desired value
= turn rotary knob.
● Confirm setting = press rotary knob.
