ILV<br />
ILV = Independent Lung Ventilation<br />
Separate, differentiated, synchronised<br />
ventilation with two Evita units, to ventilate<br />
the lung independently from each<br />
other. The two Evita units are connected<br />
by analogue interfaces.<br />
The two devices operate together in<br />
master/slave mode. The master device<br />
controls the operation.<br />
Preparation<br />
If a protective cap is fitted:<br />
● Remove cap from ILV connection.<br />
The following device combinations are<br />
possible:<br />
— <strong>EvitaXL</strong> with <strong>EvitaXL</strong><br />
— <strong>EvitaXL</strong> with Evita 4<br />
— <strong>EvitaXL</strong> with Evita 2 dura<br />
— <strong>EvitaXL</strong> with Evita 2<br />
— <strong>EvitaXL</strong> with Evita.<br />
Requirements for combinations:<br />
— Evita 2 and Evita have analogue Evita-<br />
Bus interfaces (optional).<br />
— Connecting cable 84 11 794 must<br />
be used to connect <strong>EvitaXL</strong> to<br />
another <strong>EvitaXL</strong> or to an Evita 4 or an<br />
Evita 2 dura.<br />
— Connecting cable 84 11 793 must<br />
be used to connect <strong>EvitaXL</strong> to an<br />
Evita 2 or an Evita.<br />
The ILV cable should only be connected<br />
when <strong>EvitaXL</strong> is switched off!<br />
For the combination:<br />
<strong>EvitaXL</strong> with Evita 2 dura<br />
and<br />
<strong>EvitaXL</strong> with <strong>EvitaXL</strong><br />
and<br />
<strong>EvitaXL</strong> with Evita 4:<br />
● Connect the ILV ports of the two<br />
Evita units using connecting cable<br />
