At harvesting, symptoms could be indentify on the tubers from all the othervarieties, excepting the cv. Sante, Christian and Ostara. Concerning the othervarieties, the appearence and evolution of symptoms on tubers is going onimediatly after harvesting. After 3 months, the frequency of tubers with symptomswas between 6.6-22.2% for varieties Dacia, Agata, Romano, Roclas, Ostara and forTâmpa, Koretta, Hermes varieties this percentage was between 60-95.8% (table 1).Table 2. Tissue was takenfrom tubers stored at 6-8 o C six weeks after harvest. Half of every tuber was analysed and the otherone was planted in the pot.** Mean values for 4 repetitions ± standard deviation. Analyses were made on dried tuber tissue. Theproteins % was determinated using the nitrogen % content (Kjeldal method).*** Values not followed by the same letter are significantly different (P=0.05) according to Duncan’stest.Abreviation: f.w.b. = fresh weight basis; d.w.b = dry weight basis; S.D.=standard deviation. The proteins percentages (% from dry matter) of tubers planting in the pots werevery different. As shown in tabel 2, these values were significantly high to thevarieties resistent and very resistent to the inoculation like cv. Sante, Christian andDacia comparated with the sensible cultivars Hermes, Tâmpa and Koretta. On ouropinion, it is a strong correlation between the protein’s content (% from dry matter)of tubers planted in the pots and the behaviour of inoculated material to PotatoTuber Ring Necrotic Disease. So, the variants wich started in vegetation with highpercentage of proteins (% from dry matter) were resistent to the inoculation (Sante,13
