On Day 14 thegermination process was considered finished, the percentage of bacteria results inthe period between day 3 and day 14 was being considered as estimator ofgermination (FG)Table 1 Time and the appropriate dose for the irradiation of a Petri dish with adiameter of 10 cmT(min) D (J/cm2)5 0.3810 0.7515 1.1520 1.5330 2.3abFigure 1. Experimental device unit attachment with diode laser irradiation (a) and seedtreatments on Solanum melongena (b)2. RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONSObservations made on the influence of laser radiation treatments witheggplantFor the Series 1 (2009), eggplant seeds additionally illuminated with red laserlight, we have obtained the following results comparing the non-irradiated controlsample:- In case of eggplant seeds - Solanum melongena, variety "Dragaica, studyingthe germination of dry seeds irradiated in a Series 1(2009) showed that exposure tolaser radiation initially causes a slight inhibition of germination compared to groupprocesses control . Thus, after 14 days of the onset of germination, a percentage of40-65% of germinated seeds for irradiated groups was mesured, comparing with arate of 75% for the control group (values of germination energy).
