to extensive root system, high rates of sweating, rapid growth and large biomassproduction.Phyto-remediation efficiency is directly dependent on the systemcharacteristics of plant growth, biomass size, ease of harvest, and tolerance /accumulation of large amounts of heavy metals in roots, stems or fruit.Literature studies have led to the recognition of plant roots Morus sp. asessential components of ecosystem productivity and stability, being able tosynthesize a remarkable diversity of secondary metabolites and to adjust theirmetabolic activities in response to abiotic stress factors. An important characteristic of ecosystems is the morus tree biomassproduction and longevity than their considerable (50-100 years), compared withannual or biennial plant ecosystems of spontaneous and cultivated flora present inthe same biotype.Perennial nature of the morus tree in time lead to the formation of anenvironment and ecosystem in which plants are influencing each other.Romania is situated in an area favorable for morus culture; it is cultivatedin all areas except the alpine and coniferous forest area.MATERIALS AND METHODSGetting morus seedling by cuttingsWorking protocol for obtaining the morus bush provides the followingsteps:- Branches for cuttings are harvested in February and stratify in moist sandat a temperature of 4-5 ° C.- Rooting substrate preparation is done on a level ground with good soilstructure and fertility, which is run by fall plowing at 30-40 cm depth, preceded byfertilizing with manure in the dose of 20 t / ha. With about 30 days before plantingbush are mobilizing soil depth of 20 cm and 1.25 m wide swaths picketing long and25-50 m; soil mix with manure mobilized at a dose of 30 t / ha and carbonatecalcium in quantity of 50 kg / ha. Furrows are covered with white polyethylenefilm very tight and fixed with earth on the sides, in order to achieve and maintainoptimum soil temperature and humidity.- Planting bush - the bush is best to plant when the temperature of thesubstrate so prepared is maintained constant at about 20°C for 5-6 consecutivedays; in Romania, this period coincides with the beginning of May. Branches areremoved before planting the seedlings stratification and cut a length of 15-20 cm(3-4 buds), is covered with paraffin at the top and introduced in solutionstimulators (IAA, IBA, NAA). Seedlings are planted only on the bottom andmiddle branches, 10-15 mm thick to provide nutrients that allow the vegetation andsettling. Before planting, foil Drill distance of 25 cm between seedlings, cuttings218
