Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)<br />

The components displayed in the Output<br />

Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) can differ<br />

depending upon the equipment fitted to the<br />

vehicle. For example on vehicles without<br />

ATA there will be no step "1" as listed in the<br />

table below.<br />

The Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)<br />

activates the following components in the<br />

stated sequence:<br />

Step Display in tester Reaction<br />

Alarm horn (for anti-theft alarm)<br />

- Horn sounds continuously<br />

Turn signal lights activation (for antitheft<br />

alarm)<br />

Interior light, reading lights<br />

Close sliding roof signal<br />

"Safe" LED driver's door<br />

Instrument illumination<br />

END<br />

- Activated continuously (lights up<br />

cont.)<br />

- Interior and reading lights are<br />

activated<br />

- Sliding roof closes 1)<br />

- "Safe" LED lights up<br />

- Instrument illumination activated<br />

- Information: End of regular final<br />

control test<br />

1) When performing final control test the "signal close sliding roof", the ignition and S-<br />

terminal must be inactive (no key in ignition/starter switch) and one of the front doors<br />

must be open.<br />
