Like the preceding plant, but the leaves are elliptic and<br />
egg-shaped, the calyx-lobes are i-i in. long and egg-shaped,<br />
the corolla-tube f by I in., lobes J in. diameter, round, and<br />
the style f in. long. A more showy plant than the type.<br />
Flowers. June to August.<br />
Locality. Gulmarg, open margs, above 8,000 ft., not<br />
common; Pir Panjal, 11,500 ft.<br />

A hairy plant. Stems several, simple, hollow, f -If ft. high.<br />
Eadical leaves long-stalked, lance-shaped or linear-lanceshaped,<br />
including the stalk f-1 ft. long, -l in. broad, slowly<br />
narrowed into the stalk, stem-leaves few, stalkless, much<br />
smaller. Racemes short, dense-flowered, crowded towards<br />
the top of the stem. Sepals i-^ in. long, oblong-lance-shaped,<br />
sharp-pointed, densely hairy on the margin. Corolla bluish,<br />
