Based on the indications above, an integrated master plan is a must. Nevertheless, due to current hazards and<br />

risks caused by the above exhibited problems, it is recommended to start immediately with the following list<br />

Summary of the Action<br />

Though the West Bank is rich with some of the most important monuments and cultural<br />

tourism attractions, it doesn't contain any tourist information centre or proper ticket<br />

centre, while it is missing proper historical site management in general.<br />

The proposed project is a tourist information centre equipped with necessary facilities<br />

and trained staff with the following tentative architectural programme:<br />

Tourist Information Centre – 200 m 2<br />

First floor<br />

Reception + Lobby – 50 m 2<br />

Waiting area – 60 m 2<br />

Café area – 25 m 2<br />

Small Shop – 25 m 2<br />

Ticketing office – 10 m 2<br />

Toilets – 15 m 2 x2<br />

Second floor<br />

Event centre – 30 m 2 (Optional)<br />

Storage – 20 m 2<br />

Offices + Facility management – 30 m 2<br />

Police office/station – 20 m 2<br />
