EVALUATION OF QUESTIONNAIRES ON SEO<br />
(Search Engine Optimization)<br />

The main goal of the work is to make a marketing plan for issuing a technical book (in this case a book for Search<br />
Engine Optimization).<br />
To realize this goal, we have done some market research, which is a significant part of marketing. Of the numerous<br />
methods of market research, we used questionnaires to find out the opinions of potential consumers. The survey<br />
was done among students of the Polytechnical Engineering College in Subotica. The questionnaire can also be found<br />
and completed in electronic form at the following web address: http://sikertar.extra.hu/index.php?l=k. The questionnaire<br />
comprises closed questions of three types: alternative, selective and scaled questions.<br />
We expected that mostly students of the electrical and information technology branches will participate in this research,<br />
but most of the participant were students of the mechanical branch. Because of this, the results were different<br />
from what we expected, that is, only 20% was interested in the book about SEO, but 50% claimed to be willing to visit<br />
the site about SEO. Another important finding is that more than 75% of the survey participant would prefer a hard<br />
copy of the book in question. Half of participiants have their own website. After analysing and evaluating the collected<br />
data, it can be concluded that although we got results that we did not expect, if we can determine the target group<br />
more precisely and apply modern tools for online marketing, this business can be profitable.<br />
