11 Directs the activation, staffing, and management <strong>of</strong> local safe haven management teams, mass feeding teams, and the<br />

12 Directs the activation, staffing, and management <strong>of</strong> remote safe havens management teams forward deployed to the<br />
geographically remote location ahead <strong>of</strong> the evacuees, as directed.<br />
13 Supports the staffing and operations <strong>of</strong> bulk distribution teams and evacuation management teams in coordination with<br />
Director <strong>of</strong> Logistics, as assigned.<br />
14 Coordinates with housing <strong>of</strong>fice on the assignment <strong>of</strong> temporary housing for displaced personnel, as required.<br />
15 Coordinates with mental health organizations, Chaplain, and supporting MTF on the provision <strong>of</strong> counseling services for<br />
all Category 1-5 personnel.<br />
16 Supports long term community recovery efforts within the RWG, as required.<br />

Function Description<br />
1 Advises the Installation EMWG and assigned committees on DPTMS issues, as required.<br />
1A Appoints representatives to the Installation EMWG and supporting committees, as required.<br />
2 Manages the Installation <strong>Emergency</strong> Manager, Installation EOC Manager (if assigned), ATO, and supporting staff.<br />
3 Supports identification <strong>of</strong> Category 5 personnel, especially Category 5FR, 5ER, and 5RS populations.<br />
4 Ensures DPTMS issues are addressed in the installation EM plan, as required.<br />
4A Leads development <strong>of</strong> the DPTMS FAA and supporting Installation EOC FAA.<br />
4D Supports development <strong>of</strong> the Cyber component <strong>of</strong> criminal incidents HSA with NEC, as required.<br />
4E Supports development <strong>of</strong> the special events SA with other functional areas, as assigned.<br />
5 Leads development <strong>of</strong> continuity program and associated plan for the installation headquarters functions.<br />
6 Leads EM training and exercise planning conferences.<br />
6A Integrates installation EM plan training requirements into the installation training program and associated plans.<br />
6B Integrates installation EM plan exercise requirements into the installation exercise program and associated plans.<br />
6C Ensures that subordinates comply with all training, equipment, and exercise standards, including NIMS implementation.<br />
6D Ensures that the installation EOC team complies with all training, equipment, and exercise standards, including NIMS<br />
implementation.<br />
6E Ensures that JPM–IPP and AEFRP equipment is identified in the MAXIMO inventory management system, as required.<br />
7 Supports Ready <strong>Army</strong> Campaign with consistent, positive messaging concerning installation operations.<br />
8 Maintains contact with appropriate DOD, other Service, and <strong>Army</strong> operations <strong>of</strong>ficers and staffs.<br />
9 Serves as the installation EOC director, as assigned.<br />
9A Designates representative for second shift installation EOC director assignment.<br />
9B Designates representatives for installation EOC planning section chief, as assigned.<br />
9C Designates staff to support the situation unit, documentation unit, and demobilization unit within the installation EOC<br />
planning section, as assigned.<br />
9D Designates staff to support the law enforcement branch, airfield operations branch, and/or port operations branch within<br />
the installation EOC operations section, as assigned.<br />
9E Designates staff to serve as the installation EOC information section chief, as assigned.<br />
9F Designates staff to support the installation EOC information section, as assigned.<br />
10 Appoints subordinate representatives to the RWG, as required.<br />
