9 Serves as the communications branch director in the installation EOC logistics section, as assigned.<br />
9A Designates representative for second shift communications branch director in the installation EOC logistics section.<br />
9B Directs the support <strong>of</strong> IT/IS and communications support for the installation EOC, supporting DOCs, dispatch center,<br />
JIC, ICP, and all other Cat 5 personnel, as required.<br />
10 Ensures sustained access or quick restoration <strong>of</strong> IT/IS and communications services, to include cellular towers and<br />
responder communications, during all response and recovery operations.<br />

Public Affairs Office<br />
Function Description<br />
1 Ensures emergency public information incorporation in installation EM plan.<br />
2 Develops emergency public information FAA.<br />
3 Supports Ready <strong>Army</strong> Campaign with media involvement, regular news stories, and speaking engagements.<br />
4 Engages in active hazard communication effort with <strong>Army</strong> community pre- and post-incident.<br />
5 Participates in installation EOC command section, as assigned.<br />
6 Activates, staffs, and manages the JIC, as directed.<br />
6A Provides EPI during response and recovery operations, as directed.<br />
6B Handles media requests for information and imagery, as required.<br />

Religious Support Office<br />
Function Description<br />
1 Ensures that spiritual care and counseling services are incorporated into the installation EM plan.<br />
1A Develops the chaplain services FAA, if required.<br />
1B Ensures that FBOs are identified to support mass care operations, if available.<br />
3 Supports Ready <strong>Army</strong> Campaign with consistent, positive messaging to the <strong>Army</strong> community.<br />
4 Maintains contact with appropriate Federal, DOD, State, regional, other Service, <strong>Army</strong>, and local (or Host Nation) religious<br />
organizations, FBOs, and charitable agencies.<br />
5 Participates in installation EOC operations section, as assigned.<br />
6 Ministers to the <strong>Army</strong> community during the response and recovery phases, especially in support <strong>of</strong> displaced personnel<br />
and/or evacuees, family members <strong>of</strong> casualties and fatalities, and responders.<br />
7 Supports Casualty Assistance Calls Officer (CACO) in family notifications, as required.<br />
