Michael J. Rix
Michael J. Rix empezó interesándose por la animación con plastilina mientras
estudiaba en la Escuela Technikon de Cine y Televisión de Pretoria. Desde
entonces ha escrito guiones, dirigido cortometrajes y montado películas. Tengers,
escrito y diseñado en 1999, es el primer largometraje de animación sudafricano.

Michael J. Rix began with clay-motion while a student at the
Pretoria Technikon Film and Television School. He has since
tackled almost every job in the industry, writing, directing and
editing. Tengers, wrote and storyboarded in 1999, is South
Africa’s first feature length animated film.
Michael J. Rix a commencé par animer de l’argile alors qu’il
était étudiant à la Pretoria Technikon Film and Television
School. Depuis, il s’est essayé à de nombreux métiers de
l’industrie cinématographique : écriture, réalisation, montage.
Tengers, écrit et dessiné en 1999 est le premier long métrage
d’animation sud-africain.
