Andrei Tarkovsky
Andrei Tarkovsky, nacido en abril de 1932, estudió en el Instituto Nacional de
Cinematografía (VGIK). Su primer largometraje, La infancia de Iván, fue muy
aclamado por la crítica y le dio a conocer a nivel internacional. Le siguieron otras
cuatro películas, rodadas entre 1961 y 1979, que en varias ocasiones fueron censuras.
Mientras vivió en la Unión Soviética, también fue guionista, actor, montador
y asesor artístico. Posteriormente rodó varias películas en Europa Occidental. Falleció
de cáncer de pulmón en 1986.

Andrei Tarkovsky (born April 1932) studied at the State Institute
of Cinematography (VGIK). His first feature film, Ivan’s
Childhood, won him critical acclaim and made him internationally
known. It was followed by four other films in the
time period between 1961 and 1979, most of them censored.
During this period in the Soviet Union he was also a scriptwriter,
an actor, a film editor and an artistic advisor. He then
directed several films in Western Europe. He died of a lung
cancer in 1986.
Andreï Tarkovski, né en avril 1932, étudie à l’Institut national
du cinéma de Moscou (VGIK). Son premier long-métrage de
fiction, L’Enfance d’Ivan, bénéficie d’un triomphe critique et
lui amène une notoriété internationale. Il est suivi de quatre
autres films tournés entre 1961 et 1979, souvent censurés.
Durant cette période en URSS, il est aussi scénariste, acteur,
monteur et conseiller artistique. Il tourne ensuite depuis
l’Europe de l’Ouest. Il meurt d’un cancer du poumon en 1986.
