Kivu Ruhorahoza
Kivu Ruhorahoza nació en 1982 en Kigali, Ruanda. En 2004, después de abandonar
la carrera de Derecho, se dedicó al cine, primero como ayudante de producción
y posteriormente como director de producción. En 2005 fue nombrado director
del Festival de Cine de Ruanda. Rodó su primer cortometraje en 2006 y realizó
su primer largo, Materia gris, en 2011. Asimismo, ha realizado documentales
experimentales como el musical Rwanda 15.

Kivu Ruhorahoza was born in 1982 in Kigali, Rwanda. In
2004, after having dropped out of Law School, he devoted
himself to cinema, first as a production assistant and then as
a production director. In 2005, he became the director of the
Rwanda Film Festival. In 2006, he made his directing debut
filming his first feature film, Grey Matter, in 2011. He has also
filmed experimental documentaries such as the musical film
Rwanda 15.

d’abord comme assistant de production, puis comme directeur
de production. En 2005, il prend la direction du Festival du
film du Rwanda. L’année suivante, il fait ses premiers pas en
tant que réalisateur et, en 2011, il dirige son premier longmétrage,
Matière grise. Il a aussi fait des documentaires
expérimentaux tels que le film musical Rwanda 15.
