Dyana Gaye
Dyana Gaye nació en París en 1975 y estudió en la Universidad París 8 Saint-Denis.
Dirigió su primer corto en 2000, Une femme pour Souleymane, seguido en 2004
por J’ai deux amours como parte de Paris, la métisse. En 2006, Deweneti fue
distribuido nacional e internacionalmente, además de ser uno de los cinco cortos
nominados al Cesar al Mejor Cortometraje en 2008. Dirigió el musical Taxi
comunitario en 2009.

Dyana Gaye was born in Paris in 1975 and studied at Paris
8 Saint-Denis University. She made her first short feature in
2000, Une femme pour Souleymane, followed in 2004 by J’ai
deux amours (within the framework of Paris, la métisse). In
2006, Deweneti was nationally and internationally distributed,
and was one of the five short features nominated to a
Cesar to Best Short Feature 2008. She directed the musical,
Share Taxi, in 2009.
Née à Paris en 1975, Dyana Gaye étudie le cinéma à
l’Université Paris 8 Saint-Denis. En 2000, elle réalise son premier
court métrage, Une femme pour Souleymane. En 2004,
suit J’ai deux amours dans le cadre de Paris, la métisse. En
2006, son film Deweneti connaît une large diffusion nationale
et internationale et fait partie des cinq films nommés aux César
2008 du meilleur court métrage. En 2009, elle réalise une
comédie musicale, Un Transport en Commun.
