David Segarra Soler
Nació en 1976 en Valencia (España). Reportero autodidacta, fue uno de los fundadores del diario
valenciano L’Avanç, una publicación anticonformista. Viajó a Caracas para informar de primera
mano sobre Latinoamérica y fundó la productora Guarataro. Se ha dedicado siempre a asuntos
espinosos. Fuego sobre el Mármara fue rodada desde dentro, ya que es uno de los tres españoles
que sobrevivieron al ataque de Israel a un grupo de civiles que navegaban rumbo a Gaza en un
viaje solidario.

Born in Valencia, Spain, in 1976. Self-taught reporter, he was
one of the founders of L’Avanç – Valencia newspaper, an antiestablishment
publication. He journeyed to Caracas to inform
first-hand on Latin America and founded the Guarataro Production
Company, keeping his focus on thorny issues. Fire on
the Marmara was directed from the inside as he was one of
the three Spanish survivors of the Israeli attack on the group
of civilians who sailed towards Gaza on a solidarity journey.
Né à Valence, en Espagne, en 1976, David est un reporter
autodidacte et l’un des fondateurs du quotidien valencien
L’Avanç, une publication anticonformiste. Il se rend à Caracas
pour centrer son travail de journaliste sur l’Amérique
Latine et fonde la société de production Guarataro. Il choisit
toujours des sujets épineux. Feu sur le Mármara a été tourné
au cœur des faits, puisqu’il est l’un des trois espagnols qui
ont survécu à l’attaque d’Israël sur un groupe de civils qui
naviguait vers Gaza, dans le cadre d’un voyage de solidarité.
